We will have our opening weekend sat 17th and Sunday 18th sept, commencing at 9am both days,
- bring clothes for training in, a wind jacket beanie or sunhat, to suit weather;
- drink bottle; banana and muesli bar,
- towel and change of clothes, there are showers avail.
We’ll cover:
- land-based training (erg machines) and also rowing out on the river.
- club history and organisation,
- fees and regattas,
- training times
- coaching and rower expectations.
Program for the month is to establish routines, build technique for novices and endurance for experienced rowers.

The Club is pleased to announce that the Boats and equipment for the TSB Community Trust Secondary School Sculling Centre are now available and the first squads are being recruited at the schools. The club is putting together a proposal for the Taranaki Sports trust to included in their new Kiwi Sport project for Secondary Schools
